Will Ferrel rejoined the cast of Saturday Night Live on May 16, 2009 as host for the season finale.
During the show Ferrel reprised his role as Alex Trebek for the classic skit of SNL Celebrity Jeopardy.
The Celebrity Jeopardy panel consisted of -
Kristen Wiig as Kathie Lee Gifford
Tom Hanks as a bumbling Tom Hanks
Norm McDonald as Burt Reynolds
and
Darrel Hammond as Sean Connery ever the foil to Ferrel's Trebek.
SNL Celebrity Jeopardy skits are well-known and a favorite of many, this rendition was up to par with the other skits in the Celebrity Jeopardy series when Will Ferrel was a member of the SNL cast and at the various times he has returned to host.
